ABOUT THE BAND:
Founded in 2015, ASTRAY VALLEY is a Modern Metal band from Barcelona formed by Clau Violette on vocals and gutturals, Joan Vena and Adrià Funerailles on guitars, Alex Albano on bass and Unai Splinters on drums, differentiating themselves within the genre for the use of mystical and dark stories in music, image and concerts.
ASTRAY VALLEY’s latest album, ‘Unneth’, was released in Europe, USA and Japan under Wormholedeath Records (Warner Music Group) / The Orchard (Sony Music), gathering very positive reviews by the national and international press.
During the last years, the band has been part of festivals like Rock Fest Barcelona and tours with bands like THE AGONIST, JINJER, INFECTED RAIN and OCEANS ATE ALASKA. In addition, ‘Unneth’ was presented during 2019 on an international tour that covered most of the European territory, with dates in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
In 2020, ASTRAY VALLEY joins forces with the music agency Sorrow Music and Duque Producciones to start working on their next work, darker, more mature and ambitious. Due to the global pandemic that has changed the rules of the music industry, the band’s new songs were released in single format accompanied by video clips by David Romeu (ANKOR) and photographic reports by Nat Enemede, as a proposal to adapt to the new situation and keep the audience updated with new content.
After the overwhelming premiere of the trilogy of video clips made up of “FIREHEARTS”, “ERASED” (feat. Lena Scissorhands from Infected Rain) and “Negra Noche” (the band’s first song in Spanish), ASTRAY VALLEY publishes their latest EP «TALES OF LUN», which is released in physical format through the DARK RAILS RECORDS label.
